We have wonderful employees
Kindergarten teacher, Tiina Huokuna, Master of Arts (Education), is the responsible educator of the morning group (8.30am - 12.45pm). Tiina started at Pikkulukkari in August 1997, first on a temporary basis and then as a permanent employee. Prior to that, Tiina has worked in a daycare and family daycare as well as taking care of her own children at home for a few years.
Montessori educator Sari Säisä-Niemelä is the responsible educator of the afternoon group (12.15pm - 4.30pm). Sari started at Pikkulukkari in 1991.
During these years, Sari also had been caring for her own children at home for five years.
Our long term play school assistant Marjo Salmi retired during summer 2021.
Our educators are assisted by play school assistant Taru Talka-Kojola.
